Car dealerships deploy HID lighting for car lots, showrooms and repair facilities. A LightBoss® solution can be designed for each area, offering significant energy and dollar savings.

Examples: A multi-brand dealership has 260, 1000w metal halide HID lamps illuminating the car lots.  Half are illuminating the front of the dealership, and half are illuminating the back lots.  The units are installed outdoors, and will be turned on and off via contactors driven by daylight (dawn to dusk type) sensors.  The front lamps run at 75% all night and the back will start at 75%, and will drop to 60% after 10:00pm.  That drop is triggered by a timer.

Another dealership has LightBoss® controlling  the repair bay lighting, keeping levels at 80% all day. Lamps were reduced the first time, while mechanics were working, and nobody noticed the change.
