LightBoss® is a high efficiency energy
saving device that can be used for controlling the voltage and current
levels supplied to HID lighting resulting in energy savings and reduced
operational costs. This is done through the use of patented technology
employing a microprocessor controller. Energy savings of up to
40% can be realized.
Additional Savings! are realized through the extended service
life of lamps, ballast and labor, along with reduced
heat load on facilities HVAC system.
Typical installations include any application
where control of HID lighting levels affect both brightness and operational
cost is desired. Examples are parking facilities, warehouses, manufacturing
facilities, car dealerships, airports, schools and anywhere HID light
are used and reduced energy costs are desired. Using light level
controls, LightBoss® can also be used to maintain a fixed level
in certain installations.
